朝中社称，10月21日扣押的韩国渔船及其船员，将于10月27日当地时间18点在“东海军事分界线的指定水域”获释。
朝鲜调查后“证实”该渔船及其船员是为捕鱼而进入朝鲜水域的。
朝中社用英文报导称，在“所有船员诚实承认他们的侵犯行为、一再道歉并请求宽大处理后，朝鲜考虑这些因素后”决定释放该韩国渔船。
目前，韩国政府未对此进行置评。
