今年的黄金市场，土耳其成为了一大亮点，由于该国货币的贬值，刺激土耳其的黄金需求量大增。
在过去12个月里，土耳其进口了该国历史上最多的黄金。
此外，今年至今土耳其的金币和金条销量已经达到47吨，同比去年的14.8吨，翻了近三倍。
土耳其里拉的贬值是该国涌向黄金的一大原因，而另一大原因则是土耳其总统埃尔多安在去年11月曾经号召土耳其人民抛售美元买入里拉和黄金。
尤其值得注意的是，不仅是土耳其人民在大量买入黄金，土耳其央行也在大幅增持黄金，今年三季度，其黄金储备增加了30.4吨。
不少分析人士都认为，由于土耳其目前和西方国家的关系变得更为复杂，因此在大量增持黄金以求避险。
