周一(11月20日)美市盘中，德国总理默克尔最新表示，她宁愿举行新的联邦选举，而不是试图组建一个少数党政府。默克尔作出这一表态之后，欧元/美元正在试探隔夜低点，金价也随之下跌。
彭博社报道称，正在寻求第四个任期的默克尔在接受ARD电视台采访时表示，默克尔对少数派政府“表示怀疑”，因为其可能不会带来必要的稳定，并对与社会民主党组建另一个的所谓“大联盟”持开放态度。
她表示，在没有达成协议以确保在德国联邦议院获得多数席位的情况下，“我确信新的选举是更好的方式。”
欧元/美元短线下滑约20点至1.1730，逼近日内稍早触及的日低1.1720。
美元指数突破94关口，最高触及94.05，日内涨幅逾0.3%。
现货金银扩大跌幅，分别刷新日低至1276.06美元/盎司和16.86美元/盎司。
据报道，COMEX最活跃黄金合约在北京时间00:37一分钟内成交量为10321手，交易合约总价值逾13亿美元。
