加拿大皇家银行资本市场(RBC Wealth Management)的George Gero认为，今年的金价可看向1400美元/盎司水平。
Gero认为，年初假期结束后黄金市场是否能够继续维持近期的上涨动能，但市场对股市的担忧会成为支撑金价的稳定推动力。
新年里对黄金来说最大的挑战将来自股市，但我不认为股市还能继续连创新高，而在金价突破1300美元/盎司后，更多的资金会被配置进入黄金市场，投资者们会对黄金更感兴趣。
此外，Gero认为，债券收益率也将成为影响黄金市场的重要因素，但长期而言，其影响有限。
美联储一直在追踪债券市场，而不是在领导债券市场。如果收益率曲线继续平稳，美联储在2018年就不会很激进。
